What people are saying
“Savannah is incredible. Our dog, Georgie, has been nervous, low-confidence, and incredibly reactive (including a desire to bite) for as long as we have had her. A mutual contact recommended Savannah, and we’re forever thankful. Through positive reinforcement and a true understanding of a dog’s psyche, just two weeks of board and train allowed Georgie to open up, gain confidence, and start to become the dog we always knew she could be. Savannah broke down her walls with a wide range of helpful techniques, and our anxious, aggressive, reactive dog was taking treats, asking for affection, and going on hikes with no muzzle needed. We’re incredibly excited to keep working with Savannah for as long as she allows. We would recommend Paws & Praise to anyone seeking help!”

“I sent my dog to Savannah for board and train for help with dog reactivity while on leash. Savannah was fantastic, she sent me regular updates on his progress with photos and even sometimes videos. When he came home, he was already so much improved. One month of board and train doesn’t 100% change your dog, but with the foundation form Savannah, and her three follow-up sessions and comprehensive homework between each one, my dog and I are well on our way to being able to go out in the world normally. Pre-board and train he couldn’t get within roughly 150 feet of another dog without completely losing his mind (baying, lunging, generally acting like a lunatic). But now, with help from Savannah, we can walk within 20 feet and he can stay with me and not react.”

“Savannah has drastically improved my dog Moose’s reactivity and walking skills. Moose spent two weeks with Savannah at a board and train and came back so much better behaved. We had our first follow up session after the board and train and even Savannah was impressed with how well Moose was doing. Savannah can absolutely jumpstart your dog into being a better citizen but it’s up to you to continue the process. Savannah only takes one dog at a time for board and trains which increases the value over going to a large company. She also offers 3 follow up sessions after the training, not including the session she gives you when your dog comes home. I would highly recommend Paws and Praise for anyone with a reactive dog. Savannah is worth every penny.”
